The Uncommon Thread welcomes a new Program Director -
Emily Bellovin-O'Neill
, MA, BCBA, Special Education Teacher.

Emily Bellovin-O’Neill attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology. She also attended New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ earning a Masters of Arts degree in Special Education and her Teacher of the Handicapped Certification. With over eight years of experience working with children with autism she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Emily has taught in behavior analytic programs in various public school districts and private schools. Emily is currently working on her Doctorate in Education with a focus on autism and behavior analysis.

“She is a wonderful addition to our team,” says Executive Director Phil Carr-Jones, “and we are fortunate to have her aboard!”

In addition to developing client programs, Emily also allows The Uncommon Thread to offer additional suite of BCBA services including functional behavior assessments, program evaluations, skill/curriculum assessment, BCBA candidate supervision, and remote home/community/parent training.
